Consent Livelihood of Women to promote Micro Enterprises through Seed Money Distribution

Women's empowerment has components of women's sense of self-worth; their right to have and to determine choices; their right to have access to opportunities and resources; their right to have power to control their own lives, both within and outside the home; and their ability to influence the direction of social.

Pasumai Ulagam making opportunities to Women to promote micro Enterprises through receiving seed money from our organization.  United Methodist Women in Faith from USA Support Pasumai Ulagam to distribute seed money to women to start their micro enterprises. We formed women as a group and distribute seed money without interest as revolving pattern. UMW distributes support 50 women and through revolving pattern another 50 women are benefited. These women are running their self employment of Tiffen Center, Ironing Center, Snacks Stalls, Flower vending, Vegetable Selling, Garments, Tailoring Designers. We educate about savings, banking operations, accessing other financial Resources, accessing other governmental benefits. This will help women in finically independent, eradicate poverty from Families, it is bridge of Gender equality, our women are activity participate in financial decision making within their family. Through this programe 200 women are benefited past 2 years.
