Our Organization Pasumai Ulagam works in Erode and Tenkasi District of Tamilnadu Since 2002. In Erode We work among Women and Children in Urban Slums of District, In Tenkasi District we work among Orphan Children to support free Shelter, Food, Cloth and Education support since 2006. We started this hostel with 3 children in 2003. The Children with Age group of 5 yrs to 25 yrs get the support from our organization. There 85 children which is 65 girls and 20 boys are stayed.
Our Home located at 6-9-5, Velayuthapuram Road, Sambavar Vadakarai, Kadayanallur TK, Tenkasi District-627856. The beneficiary children came from Krishagiri, Tenkasi and Thirunelveli District of Tamilnadu they belongs from Tribes Community, Orphan, Semi Orphan, Children abused from their relatives, Children affected heart problems, children lefted by parents for illegal relationship. Their parents are beedi rollers, Beggars, Agricultural labors.
The children are depends our organization to food, safe Environment and educational need. Our Organization support the children’s day to day need, free food, free Primary and higher education, free cloths and free shelter for their welfare and develop their skill and moral life. Still now 32 children completed their higher education in the field of Nursing, Catering, Polytechnic, ITI , Arts and Science degree and Physiotherapist. Now they are working various concerns in the relevant field in various places of Tamilnadu. At present 12 students pursuing their higher education and remaining children continue their primary and secondary education.

Totally 85 children need to feed every day. Our existing donors are individual, they provide some groceries, Rice and milk. some festival times the individuals donate food to children directly. Every day we need to spend around from Rs. 8500 up to Rs.10000 for 3 meal program. Our organization needs funding support per month Rs. 200000/- after local community support and Ngo Contributions or we request grocery support to provide quality food to children. It will help the children to feed Nutritional food and lead Healthy life, keeps skin, teeth and eye healthy. It will help to boost immunity, strengthen bone and muscles. It help adolescent girls to develop good reproductive system. Hence it will help the children be physically active and good mental health. Children can able to learn new skills and study and pay attention to the present moment and boosting self confidence and self esteems.
